We fire our pieces in wood kilns we have built out of raw clay.
- A cross draft kiln for low-meedle temperature firing, which we call the “Little Dragon”.
- A charcoal kiln for raku firings nicknamed the "Fire Pit.”
- A half-buried “anagama” kiln with a capacity of 3m3 for high-temperature firing.
The kilns are covered with a layer of clay and straw. The sloped roofs sheltering each of the kilns are built from local chestnut wood and covered with wood tiles.
